Revenue-share calculator · Built for software platforms
Estimate what your platform earns from payments.
Dial in your monthly processing volume and see the revenue share your platform receives. Pulse handles every part of the payments business — your software earns a share of the net revenue on every transaction your merchants run.
Step 01 · Your platform
Tell us about your platform.
Model assumptions
- Net payments revenue ≈ 0.72% of volume — a markup on volume plus a per-transaction margin, net of processor costs. Lower tickets mean more transactions and a higher effective rate.
- Partner revenue share = 35% of net payments revenue
- Average per merchant ≈ $37/mo
Step 02 · Your earnings
Here's what your platform earns.
The other way to read that number
Two ways to add payments.
- Embed once with a single API
- Inherit every processor connection
- PCI scope minimized by tokenization
- Pulse underwrites, boards + monitors for you
- Revenue share auto-calculated, paid monthly
- Live in weeks · revenue share earned
How we calculate this
- Net payments revenue: calculated per merchant account as a markup on processing volume plus a margin on each transaction (transactions = volume ÷ average ticket), net of interchange pass-through and processor fees. This blends to roughly 0.7% of volume at typical ticket sizes — lower-ticket, higher-frequency merchants run a higher effective rate.
- Partner revenue share: 35% of net payments revenue flows to your platform under the standard Pulse partner agreement. No software fees are charged against this amount.
- Effective rate: net revenue × 35% ≈ 0.25% of gross volume at typical ticket sizes. At $18.4M/mo this yields approximately $46K/mo.
- Settlement: revenue share is settled monthly on a fixed cycle (e.g., Cycle 10 settling the 1st of each month) with full MID-level rollup reporting in your Pulse dashboard.
Indicative estimates only. Actual revenue share varies by processor mix, merchant vertical, card-present vs. card-not-present split, and contractual terms. Pulse will validate these numbers against your specific platform during onboarding.
